A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. While doulas do not provide medical care, they help families feel informed, empowered, and supported as they navigate one of life’s most important transitions. My role is to provide encouragement, comfort measures, evidence-based education, and a calm, reassuring presence every step of the way.

A labor doula supports families during pregnancy, labor, and birth by providing comfort techniques, emotional support, and guidance throughout the birthing process. A postpartum doula supports families after birth, helping them adjust to life with a newborn through education, emotional support, newborn care guidance, feeding support, and practical assistance during the fourth trimester.

Many families choose to hire a doula during the second trimester, but it’s never too early or too late to seek support. Hiring early allows us to build a relationship, discuss your goals and preferences, and ensure you have support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

Our consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we’re a good fit. If you have a partner, I encourage them to join the call so we can discuss your goals together. During our conversation, we’ll talk about your pregnancy, your hopes for birth and postpartum, any questions or concerns you may have, and how my services can best support your family. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions and learn more about what it’s like to work with me.
