Hi, I’m Catherine, a certified birth and postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, and proud mother of two. My journey into birth work began through my passion for supporting families and caring for children. After years of working with infants, toddlers, and families as a nanny and childcare professional, I discovered the incredible impact doulas have on the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

Roles of a Doula
PostPartum
Compassionate support during the fourth trimester, including newborn care education, feeding support, emotional encouragement, recovery guidance, light household assistance, and evidence-based information. Helping parents feel confident, rested, and supported as they adjust to life with their new baby.
Newborn care specialist
Professional newborn care support including feeding guidance, sleep shaping, soothing techniques, diapering, bathing, safe sleep education, and newborn development support. Helping families build confidence, establish routines, and enjoy a smoother transition into parenthood with expert, compassionate care.

Labor Doula
Continuous support throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth. I provide emotional encouragement, hands-on comfort measures such as hip squeezes, massages, breathing techniques, and labor positioning, while helping you feel informed and confident in your choices. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, VBAC, or cesarean birth, I am there to support, advocate, and nurture you every step of the way.
